Lucille Beezley

Lucy was born May 25, 2009 in rural Gage County, Nebraska and died on August 4, 2009 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lucy was the wife of Nathaniel "Nate" Beezley and the mother of three sons, Douglas, Randall and Brian. She grew up as the youngest of 10 children on her parent's farm near Adams, Nebraska. She attended a nearby country school through the eighth grade and was the only one of her siblings to graduate from high school, spending four school years in Beatrice, Nebraska. Lucy was a homemaker after marriage until her sons were older, worked at the University of Nebraska, East Campus. After Nate's death in 1999, she lived alone in her home on Mulder Drive, living to see her two great grandchildren, Dianna and Jonathan.


Bill Nollkamper

Bill was born March 17, 1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was the only child of Ralph and Helen (Sue) Nollkamper, both deceased.

Bill married Linda Kay Schroer in 1974. They had two sons: William Gregory (Greg) Nollkamper born in 1979 and Steven Andrew (Steve) Nollkamper born in 1981.

Bill held a Bachelor's Degree from Doane College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Washburn University. He was a lawyer, working for more than 16 years in the Office of Hearings and Appeals, Social Security Administration, Department of Health and Human Service. He was a lawyer in private practice from 1992 to 2006.

Bill's wife, Linda, died in an automobile accident nearly 2 years before and his mother, Sue, died in Eugene in October 2007 while staying in Eugene with Bill.

Melvin E. Schroer

Mel was born March 25, 1919 in Stratford, Wisconsin. His younger years were in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he graduated from High School and college in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He graduated from Eden Seminary in St. Louis, Illinois.

Mel married Fern Marie Deffenbaugh in 1945. They had four daughters: Dianne who died at the age of 5, Barbara, living in Gering, Nebraska, Linda who died at the age of 53, and Pamela who lives near Boulder, Colorado.

Mel served at churches in Silver Creek and Darlington, Wisconsin, Columbus, Nebraska and Atascadero, California. He also served as Associate Conference Minister for the United Church of Christ of Nebraska. He and Fern retired at Pilgrim Place, staying there after Fern's death until moving to a Heritage Estates Nursing home less than a year before his death on September 22, 2007, to be near his daughters.

Chris Omoto Beezley

Chris was born October 4, 1950 in Honolulu, Hawaii and died of breast cancer on June 14, 2007 in Redondo Beach, California. Chris was the wife of Randy Beezley, mother of Paige, Quinn and Shayne, and respected veteranarian in the Los Angeles area. Chris is shown here hugging her dog, Kin Ryu. A celebration of her life will be held on July 21, 2007.

Linda Nollkamper

Linda was born March 9, 1953 in Darlington, Wisconsin and died in a car accident on January 2, 2006 in Eugene, Oregon.

Linda was the sister of Barbara Beezley and Pamela Leonhardt, wife of Bill Nollkamper, and mother of Greg and Steven.





Nathaniel Beezley

 Nate was born September 30, 1923 in Lincoln, Nebraska and died of cancer on March 14, 1999 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Nate was the husband of Lucille Beezley and the father of Doug, Randy and Brian. His life career was as a Civil Engineer and he was an Army Veteran, serving in Europe in World War II.




Michael Timmerman

Michael was born December 2, 1976 in Laramie, Wyoming and died on July 14, 1998 in Lafayette, Colorado in a motorcycle accident.

Michael was the son of Pam and Mike Leonhardt and Kenneth Timmerman.





Fern Schroer

Fern was born on July 6, 1924 in Belleville, Illinois and died on November 13, 1993 in Claremont, California.

Fern was the wife of Melvin Schroer and the mother of Dianne Schroer, Barb Beezley, Linda Nollkamper and Pam Leonhardt.





Dianne Lynn Schroer

Dianne was born March 23, 1947 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and died of Leukemia on December 27, 1952 in Darlington, Wisconsin.

Dianne was the daughter of Mel and Fern Schroer, big sister of Barb Beezley.
